What We Are?

Loyola Kendriya Vidyalaya (LKV) is a Jesuit Institution managed by North Karnataka Jesuit Educational and Charitable Society (Regd.). The School has been at the forefront of providing quality education for the holistic development of its students. It welcomes all students with open arms without any distinction of their religious and economic background. We provide an interreligious atmosphere that promotes unity and brotherhood among students and staff of different faiths.

Jesuit Education rooted in the vision of St.Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of Society of Jesus whose members are called Jesuits, has a rich legacy of over 450 years. Academic excellence along with character formation and social concern form the three fold goals of Jesuit education and is thus holistic in nature.

The vision of Jesuit education is to transform every individual student to be a leader. It prepares the learners to be men and women of Competence, Compassion, Character and Conscience who are committed to serve God through serving others. It inspires them to overcome self-centeredness and develop deep concern for the poor, the excluded and the marginalized sections of the society.
Providing personal care for each and every student (Cura Personalis), encouraging the students to find the Divine in all that they do (Finding God in everything), inspiring them to strive for excellence in academics and co curricular and extracurricular activities to bring out the best in them, providing innumerable opportunities to discover and foster their talents to prepare our students for life have been the key objectives of Jesuit Education. Thus, educating the head, heart and hands bring about the complete formation of an individual.

LKV, like any other Jesuit Institution ensures that all its students experience fullness of human life and transform into better human beings- the best versions of themselves.

Academic orientation, regular physical training through sports and games and PT classes, literary, art and cultural activities and competitions, debates, elocution, various activities of school clubs and associations are a part of the regular timetable of the school.

We at Loyola accompany our young students in this crucial phase of their life’s journey into the broken and divided world as enlightened individuals who are agents of peace and reconciliation
